Saints rule out Kaden Elliss, Carl Granderson for Monday night's game

Ahead of Monday night's matchup, the New Orleans Saints have officially sidelined linebacker Kaden Elliss due to a calf issue that kept him off the practice field all week. Elliss, whose career includes three seasons with his former club the Atlanta Falcons alongside his time with New Orleans, enters this contest with 24 total tackles this year.

Joining him on the inactive list is fellow linebacker Carl Granderson, who was similarly held out of all practice sessions with an ankle problem. Pete Werner adds further uncertainty to the defensive front, earning a questionable designation because of a shoulder injury after also missing every practice leading up to the game.

Additional roster concerns impact both depth and receiving options for the squad heading into the fixture. Reserve linebacker Anfernee Jennings will not dress on Monday as he nurses a knee injury. Meanwhile, tight end Noah Fant shares the questionable tag alongside Werner due to an abdomen complaint.
