How Yankees utterly dominated Red Sox without MVP Aaron Judge

Despite playing without Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees secured a commanding 9-0 victory over the Boston Red Sox in Game 1 of their American League wild card series on Tuesday, September 29. Pitcher Cam Schlittler delivered a stellar performance by taking a two-hit shutout into the seventh inning, while Ben Rice tied a franchise record with six RBIs, capped off by a grand slam in the eighth inning off Brayan Bello.

Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday night with Sonny Gray facing Max Fried.
