How Bruno Fernandes fared in Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea?

Manchester United suffered a two-nil defeat away against Chelsea over the weekend, placing further pressure on head coach Michael Carrick. Despite a strong opening period where the visitors generated multiple openings, they failed to capitalize before Morgan Rogers broke the deadlock fifty minutes in.

Cole Palmer subsequently doubled the advantage from the penalty spot following the dismissal of Lisandro Martinez for two bookable offenses. Bruno Fernandes returned to the starting lineup after previous controversy involving Carrick's tactics, but the midfielder struggled to influence the match.

He missed a clear opportunity before halftime and surrendered possession on numerous occasions as his struggles this season continued.
