Siddharth Jawahar received an eleven-year prison sentence in a Missouri federal court after running a fraudulent investment operation that defrauded dozens of individuals, including prominent professional athletes. Prosecutors identified Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce among the dozens of affected investors, while separate legal filings revealed similar grievances from basketball guard Gary Harris Jr.

and former football player Ross Travis. Jawahar admitted guilt to multiple counts of wire fraud earlier in the year and must now provide tens of millions in financial restitution.
