Rising tennis stars Hailey Baptiste and Victoria Mboko are working toward a comeback for the 2027 season following significant injuries that cut their 2026 campaigns short. Baptiste, who reached a career-high ranking of world number 25 in May 2026, is currently undergoing rehabilitation for a torn ACL sustained at Roland Garros.
She is supported by her father and coaches Franklin Tiafoe and Will Woodall while recovering in Washington, D.C.
Victoria Mboko, who broke into the top 10 earlier in 2026, is also aiming for an early 2027 return after suffering an MCL injury. Her season-ending setback occurred shortly after she competed in doubles alongside Serena Williams at the U.S.
Open. Despite missing the Canadian Open, Mboko remains focused on her professional development as she prepares for the upcoming tour cycle.
