New York Giants rookie placekicker Dominic Zvada has made an immediate impact, going undefeated on all 14 of his early-season attempts. In the team’s Week 3 win over Tennessee, he accounted for every point, while Week 4 against Arizona saw him deliver three field goals, including long kicks of 50 and 52 yards, sealing a victory.
Zvada credits his success to a disciplined routine developed in college and a rigorous training camp that simulated game conditions with controlled aggression. The Giants’ coaching staff emphasized realistic scenarios to ease the transition into the regular season, a strategy that appears to have paid off early for Zvada, who also won a training camp competition against teammate Ben Sauls.
His next test comes in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders, with the game set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in Northwest Stadium, broadcast on FOX.
