Giants' Jameis Winston tackles Giants' Cam Skattebo in backfield botch

New York Giants signal-caller Jameis Winston and running back Cam Skattebo collided in the backfield during the opening half of a Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Winston attempted to deliver a standard hand-off deep inside his own zone, but the miscommunication resulted in the pair crashing directly into one another.

Despite managing to secure the ball, Skattebo was immediately dropped behind the line of scrimmage for a three-yard loss by the Titans defense. The miscue occurred as the franchise adjusts to Winston stepping in as the primary quarterback following an injury to Jaxson Dart that sidelined him for the remainder of the 2026 NFL campaign.
