Georgia takes No. 1 spot in US LBM Coaches Poll ahead of matchup with Auburn

The Georgia Bulldogs have risen to the top of the US LBM Coaches Poll, marking a significant shift in the college football rankings. Their ascent to No.

1 comes after a dominant performance against Alabama, setting the stage for a highly anticipated SEC showdown with Auburn. Meanwhile, the Big Ten’s top teams—including Kentucky, which climbed in the rankings following a dramatic upset victory over LSU—are also poised for a Week 7 clash with Georgia and Auburn both occupying spots in the top 10.

The poll reflects a chaotic Week 6, where upsets reshuffled the rankings, including Texas’ fall from the top spot after a loss to Oklahoma. With the Bulldogs now leading, the focus turns to their ability to maintain momentum ahead of the upcoming rivalry game.
