Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea conquer the Kuwait Major and strike a blow to the number one ranking

Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea secured their seventh title of the season by winning the Kuwait Major. After dropping the opening set 3-6 to Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero, the top-ranked duo mounted a comeback to claim the final two sets with identical 6-1 scores.

This victory marks their second Major win of the year and strengthens their position in the annual rankings. The result follows a nearly two-month title drought for the pair, whose last tournament win occurred in Madrid during early September.
