Gonza Alfonso: "There were many people who didn’t trust us and wanted us to lose so they could be right"

Gonza Alfonso is enjoying a career-best stretch alongside partner Tino Libaak, recently securing another victory over the duo of Lebron and Augsburger. Alfonso dismissed critics who doubted the transition of players from the A1 Padel circuit to Premier Padel, noting that some detractors actively hoped for their failure to validate previous skepticism.

Looking ahead, the athlete expressed immense pride in his selection for the upcoming World Championship in Qatar, describing the call-up as the pinnacle of his professional journey thus far.
