Fulham take first point of the season at lacklustre Liverpool

Fulham earned their opening Premier League point of the current campaign, bringing some relief following a challenging initial stretch of matches led by Alvaro Arbeloa. The London side managed to hold Liverpool to a scoreless result on the road.

The hosts were unable to find the net in any competition for the first time this season. That attacking drought arrived immediately on the heels of their recent continental triumph against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
