From playing against Messi & Ronaldo to non-league

Former professional Fernando Forestieri has begun a new chapter in the sixth tier of English football after making his debut for Oxford City. The 36-year-old attacker, who previously competed against global icons like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, entered the match as a substitute during a 3-0 victory over Hebburn Town.

Forestieri is now preparing for an upcoming FA Cup first-round fixture where his side will challenge Leicester City. Reflecting on his journey from a difficult upbringing in Rosario to top-flight European leagues, the Argentine forward remains optimistic about his team's potential to secure an upset in the domestic cup competition.
