Evaluating Oregon's Future Quarterback Outlook After Dante Moore News

The Oregon Ducks are facing a disappointing mid-season reality after falling to a four and three record, effectively ending their national championship aspirations. Head coach Dan Lanning shared the unfortunate news that starting quarterback Dante Moore will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season due to a severe head injury suffered against the USC Trojans.

Prior to this setback, Moore had weighed skipping his remaining college eligibility to enter the NFL draft, though a new NCAA rule now offers him an avenue to return next year. Meanwhile, the coaching staff has already looked toward future roster depth by securing transfer quarterback Dylan Raiola from the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
