ESPN’s Kendra Andrews posts video from Valkyries’ celebration despite league policy against locker room access

Following the conclusion of the WNBA Finals, ESPN reporter Kendra Andrews shared footage from the Golden State Valkyries championship celebration held inside the locker room. This event was notable because the league has maintained a policy since 2023 that restricts media access to those areas, a rule that has been in place since the pandemic.

While some outlets were granted entry, others were directed to a separate space at the arena for player interviews. The WNBA has not provided a statement regarding the inconsistent enforcement of these access rules.
