Erika Hara Breaks Through With Career-Best Finish At TOTO Japan Classic
Shuri Sakuma secured her inaugural LPGA Tour victory at the TOTO Japan Classic, overcoming a three-stroke deficit with a final-round 64. Her performance at the Taiheiyo Club Minori Course included five consecutive birdies on the back nine, resulting in a four-stroke win and a $315,000 prize.
Aki Iwai finished as the runner-up after leading the tournament following the third round. Erika Hara also achieved a career-best finish during the event, which served as the final stop of the LPGA's Asia swing.
