The England and Wales Cricket Board has unveiled a complete coaching structure for the men’s Test and white‑ball sides, set to start on the upcoming Test tour of South Africa and the white‑ball series in Australia. New elite national leads have been appointed: Mike Yardy will oversee batting, Richard Dawson will direct spin bowling and Troy Cooley continues as the pace‑bowling lead, giving England specialist input across all three disciplines.
Stephen Fleming will head the Test coaching team, supported by Richard Dawson, former England opener Marcus Trescothick, former wicket‑keeper James Foster and South Africa‑born Eric Simons. Brendon McCullum’s white‑ball staff will include former England keeper Sarah Taylor, former New Zealand bowler Jeetan Patel, New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee and mentor Kevin Pietersen.
