England close on series sweep against Pakistan: third men’s cricket Test, day two – live

Action got underway at 11:00 am BST at Edgbaston for the second day of the third men's Test between England and Pakistan, with the hosts pursuing a series sweep. Early in the morning session, Dan Lawrence faced a sharp bouncer from bowler Razaullah that eluded him before taking another rising delivery to the elbow, though he responded by striking a four through midwicket to push England to 160 for four by the close of the 40th over, with Harry Brook on 52 and Lawrence on nine.
