Deion Sanders Tells Critics to ‘Stop the Nonsense’ After Being Listed for Potential Firing

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders responded to recent media speculation regarding his job security following a 23-13 conference defeat to Baylor, which dropped his squad's record to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the Big 12. Publications such as USA Today and Sports Illustrated placed the 59-year-old on their hot-seat rosters after consecutive losses, though a midseason dismissal remains financially challenging due to a buyout estimated at roughly $25.5 million through the end of 2026.

Sanders answered the critics via social media by sharing a biblical passage urging followers to reject fear and nonsense, while his team prepares to face undefeated Texas Tech as heavy underdogs.
