Dave Portnoy ruthlessly mocks Angel Reese with video after WNBA Finals loss

Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy doubled down on his long-standing criticism of WNBA star Angel Reese following the Atlanta Dream’s loss in the 2024 Finals. Portnoy shared a compilation video on X highlighting Reese’s struggles in the series, including multiple missed shots and turnovers, alongside a jab about her 0-1 record in WNBA championship games.

Despite delivering standout performances in Games 2 and 3—where she helped secure a series lead for Atlanta—Reese’s inconsistent play in other contests, including three games with fewer than 10 points and three games shooting under 30% from the field, fueled Portnoy’s commentary. The post underscored the heated online rivalry between Reese and Caitlin Clark, with Portnoy’s supporters using the moment to amplify their criticism of the Dream’s star player during the offseason.
