Dan Quinn: Jayden Daniels week-to-week; Marcus Mariota named captain

Washington head coach Dan Quinn stated that quarterback Jayden Daniels remains week-to-week after suffering an elbow dislocation during a recent loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Despite the injury, Daniels has managed to avoid both surgery and a stint on injured reserve.

With their primary signal-caller unavailable for the upcoming matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, Marcus Mariota has been named as a captain and will step into the starting quarterback role. Additionally, Quinn reported that safety Nick Cross will sit out the next game, while Frankie Luvu, Chig Okonkwo, and Javon Kinlaw are listed as day-to-day.
