Commanders Turn To Marcus Mariota In London With Jayden Daniels Sidelined

Marcus Mariota will make another consecutive appearance under center for Washington this weekend as Jayden Daniels continues recovering from an elbow issue. Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed the decision following Friday workouts abroad, noting that while Daniels managed limited practice participation wearing a supportive apparatus, medical staff will hold him out until evaluating a full workload next week.

Daniels previously sustained a similar joint displacement during the second half of the previous season. Washington prepares to clash with Indianapolis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following a narrow thirty-three to thirty-one victory over Seattle where Mariota tossed three scoring passes.

Meanwhile, running back Rachaad White missed a third straight practice session due to a shoulder ailment, while recently signed veteran Austin Ekeler enjoyed a productive week of preparation according to the coaching staff.
