Curt Cignetti Talks Up Northwestern After Narrow Win Friday

Following a hard-fought Friday night matchup, Indiana secured a 29-23 home victory despite facing a heavy point spread as underdogs against Northwestern. Head coach Curt Cignetti praised his opponents postgame, acknowledging that the visiting squad proved to be a formidable competitor.

Throughout the contest, David Braun's squad struggled initially but finished strong by scoring on each of their final four possessions. However, late defensive lapses allowed a decisive rushing touchdown, giving the hosts the edge in time of possession and total ground yards.
