The Columbus Blue Jackets have unveiled their 2026–27 'Hometown Remix' alternate jerseys, a design choice that has already sparked debate among fans. The new uniforms, featuring a gray base, will make their debut in a series of home games starting November 3 against the Colorado Avalanche.
The Jackets will wear the jerseys in eight additional matchups through December 31, including matchups against the Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers, and Tampa Bay Lightning, among others. The first appearance will take place at Nationwide Arena, where the team opens the series against Colorado on Tuesday evening.
The controversial gray scheme replaces the traditional blue and black colorway, prompting discussions about its alignment with the team’s identity. The uniforms will be worn in select home games, including a late-November clash with the New Jersey Devils and a New Year’s Eve matchup against the Washington Capitals.
The Blue Jackets have scheduled the jerseys for 11 games in total, with the final appearance coming on December 31 against the Capitals at 2 p.m.
