Following an injury to their primary pass catcher during a Sunday night matchup, the Indianapolis franchise has added a familiar target for quarterback Daniel Jones. Wide receiver Alec Pierce was forced to leave the recent contest against the Kansas City franchise due to an aggravation of a left heel issue that previously required surgery.

To help offset the absence of their top receiving option, leadership moved quickly to bring in veteran free agent receiver Darius Slayton. Slayton previously caught passes alongside Jones during their shared tenure with the New York organization.
