The Indianapolis Colts made two notable roster adjustments on Tuesday, adding veteran tight end Pharaoh Brown to the 53-man roster and re-signing linebacker Germaine Pratt to the practice squad. Brown, a 32-year-old with nine seasons of NFL experience, joins a tight end group that includes Tyler Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, and Drew Ogletree.
Over his career, Brown has played in 94 games, starting 56, and has accumulated 752 receiving yards and three touchdowns. His return to the Colts follows a brief stint with the team during the 2023 offseason before his release at the end of training camp.
The more intriguing move involves Pratt, who spent the majority of the 2025 season with Indianapolis after starting the year in Las Vegas. The 30-year-old linebacker made a strong impact last season, recording 101 tackles, five tackles for loss, eight passes defended, an interception, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 12 starts.
Pratt’s familiarity with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo—having played under him for six seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals—could prove valuable as the Colts look to stabilize their inconsistent linebacker corps. Pratt’s addition to the practice squad offers another experienced option if the current group continues to face challenges.
