Patriots opponent preview: Are the Jets quietly growing into a contender?

The New England Patriots are preparing to host the New York Jets in an upcoming matchup featuring second-year head coaches Mike Vrabel and Aaron Glenn. While Vrabel's squad holds a three-win and two-loss record along with a positive scoring differential, Glenn's group sits at two wins and three losses following a recent victory against the Cleveland Browns.

Statistics highlight a strong defensive unit for the Jets that has limited mistakes, contrasted by an offense ranking in the lower half of the league in multiple categories. The Jets previously opened their campaign with a victory over the Tennessee Titans before enduring three consecutive defeats against Green Bay, Detroit, and Chicago.
