College football Heisman Trophy watch after Week 4

Following four weeks of college football action, the initial Heisman Trophy contenders are stepping into the spotlight as top programs establish their footing in the AP Top 25. Miami quarterback Darian Mensah has driven his squad to an undefeated record while accumulating over twelve hundred passing yards and fourteen touchdowns without a single interception.

His teammate Malachi Toney has proven equally dominant out wide alongside Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith, who has already surpassed three thousand career receiving yards. Meanwhile, Ole Miss signal-caller Trinidad Chambliss and Mississippi State passer Kamario Taylor continue putting up impressive aerial numbers to anchor their respective offenses.
