
Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly and director Mark Walter have reached an agreement to transfer their collective 25 percent stake to majority stakeholder Clearlake Capital, valuing the London side at £5bn. 5 percent, with co-founder Behdad Eghbali cementing his position as the primary authority.
Boehly, Walter, and fellow director Jonathan Goldstein have relinquished their seats on the board and exited all operational oversight, though the sporting and commercial leadership will stay unchanged without an incoming chairman.
