Chiefs News: Chiefs have early command of AFC West

The Kansas City Chiefs head into their bye week holding sole possession of first place in the AFC West following a 30-27 victory on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. Their divisional lead widened further as the Los Angeles Chargers dropped to 0-4 on the season after a 30-23 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks, putting them four games behind Kansas City.

During the recent matchup, Tyquan Thornton dealt with a knee and ankle injury while interacting playfully with teammates Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, later expressing optimism on social media about his recovery. Meanwhile, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo faces questions regarding his unit's performance as opposing tight ends Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer found success against the linebackers.
