Russell Wilson has emerged as a potential candidate for the head coaching vacancy at North Carolina State, having participated in an interview for the position this Tuesday. The former Seahawks signal-caller, who spent three seasons with the Wolfpack and recorded 8,545 passing yards and 76 touchdowns, is currently transitioning from his role on the CBS pregame broadcast team.
Philip Rivers is also being considered for the role, marking a pursuit of two prominent alumni for the program. While Wilson lacks coaching experience, his status as a former star player could prove valuable in the current collegiate landscape.
Rivers brings a different background to the table, having previously served as a high school head coach for five seasons in Alabama.
