Virat Kohli matched a major world milestone during the opening match of the West Indies series by securing his sixtieth century in List A cricket. Alongside captain Shubman Gill, who also contributed a hundred, Kohli anchored a successful run chase to take a one-nil lead in the series.
During the innings, the veteran batter also surpassed fifteen thousand runs in one-day internationals at record speed. Meanwhile, Justin Greaves had earlier posted his maiden century for the West Indies before Kuldeep Yadav claimed four wickets to restrict the opposing side.
