Carrick: ‘Roma are a really good team, big game for Manchester United’

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has acknowledged the significant challenge posed by Roma ahead of their upcoming Champions League fixture. Carrick noted the impressive form of the Italian side this season while addressing his own squad's recent struggles and selection adjustments, including the decision to bench Lisandro Martinez following his recent dismissal.

Kobbie Mainoo returns to the starting lineup alongside Carlos Baleba in a tactical shift for the hosts, who have not secured a win since mid-September. The team remains without several key players, including Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw, as they look to overcome a difficult run of results.

Meanwhile, Roma enters the match with a strong record, having suffered only a single defeat throughout their current campaign.
