Canadiens: Did Reinbacher Do Enough? Apparently Not.

Several standout performers made waves during the Montreal Canadiens training camp, notably Florian Xhekaj up front and David Reinbacher on the defense. Reinbacher seized an opportunity following Kaiden Guhle's injury, even earning an audition alongside Lane Hutson during a preseason appearance.

Despite this strong showing, the Canadiens opted to relegate Reinbacher along with nine other players to the Laval Rocket, while keeping Xhekaj and Adam Engstrom with the main roster ahead of the final roster deadline.
