Browns and Steelers mismanaged the final seconds of the game

Sunday's final moments of a tight contest featured questionable clock and playcalling choices by both sides under current kickoff regulations. Following a late field goal, the trailing squad received a touchback at the 35-yard line with ten seconds left on the game clock and a timeout available.

Instead of executing a quick-hitting pass toward the middle of the field to set up a tying kick, the quarterback rolled right and launched a deep throw that was intercepted, ending the contest.
