Alisha Palmowski has secured the F1 Academy title, becoming the youngest person to ever win the all-female series. The 20-year-old Red Bull academy driver from Glossop, representing Campos Racing, clinched the championship after finishing second in the reverse grid race at the Circuit of the Americas.
This achievement makes her the second Briton to win the crown, following Abbi Pulling in 2024.
Palmowski dominated the season, winning five of 11 races and only failing to score points once, which occurred during Zandvoort's reverse grid event. She dedicated the win to her sick grandmother and credited her parents' sacrifices since she began racing at age eight or nine.
While Alba Larsen of Denmark won the race, and France's Lisa Billard took third, Emma Felbermayr of Austria finished fourth, ending her mathematical hopes of taking the title.
