The Buffalo Bills made a pair of roster adjustments following their Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams, prioritizing veteran experience over limited playing time. Cornerback Javon Wallace, who logged just 31 snaps in his Bills debut against the Rams, was released after a brief stint with the team.
Wallace, a 26-year-old undrafted free agent out of Baldwin-Wallace, had previously played with the Titans since his NFL debut in 2023. Meanwhile, the Bills re-signed outside linebacker Mike Danna, a two-time Super Bowl champion who provides edge-rushing depth and has filled in at defensive line when needed.
Danna recorded two pressures in seven pass-rush snaps during Week 2 against the Detroit Lions, stepping in for an injured Ed Oliver. The Bills also indicated they may re-add Danna to the practice squad if he clears waivers, ensuring continuity for a player with playoff-proven production.
