Former England batter Tammy Beaumont has committed her future to domestic cricket by signing a two-year extension with The Blaze. This agreement keeps her contracted with the squad until 2028, marking her twenty-first professional season.
The thirty-five-year-old decided to continue playing domestically shortly after concluding her international career with the national team. Last season, she contributed significantly as her team secured three major domestic trophies following a successful campaign.
During the recent milestone year, Beaumont accumulated over nine hundred runs across her appearances to help drive the club's success. Head coach Craig Cumming praised the veteran athlete as an elite talent who will remain crucial to the team's ambitions of defending their titles.
Her career with the club began back when the team was previously known by a different name and located elsewhere before relocating.
