Bath and Leicester Tigers have seen their upcoming round eight Prem Rugby showdown pushed back by 24 hours. Originally scheduled for a 15:05 GMT kickoff on Boxing Day, the encounter will now take place on Sunday, 27 December, starting at 17:30 GMT.
The scheduling adjustment stems from transportation limitations within the city, as neither local rail networks nor Park and Ride facilities will operate on the holiday. Despite this shift, two matches remain scheduled for Saturday, 26 December, featuring Bristol against the Newcastle Red Bulls alongside Gloucester visiting Sale.
Following the Bath and Leicester fixture, Exeter will entertain Saracens at Sandy Park, while Harlequins prepare to welcome reigning champions Northampton Saints on Monday, 28 December.
