Barcelona sweep aside Aston Villa as Unai Emery endures another miserable Nou Camp night

Barcelona defeated Aston Villa 3-0 in a Champions League match that marked a difficult 55th birthday for manager Unai Emery. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring early following a defensive error, while Raphinha added two goals in the second half to secure the victory.

Despite the loss, Villa remains in contention for a top-eight finish in the league phase. Prince William was in attendance to watch the match at the stadium.

Villa struggled to capitalize on several first-half opportunities, including attempts by Johan Manzambi and Nicolas Jackson, while Leon Goretzka hit the post late in the game. Emery now holds a record of 15 losses in 16 visits to this venue.
