Austin Hitt delivered a dominant final-round performance to clinch the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at The Federal Club in Glen Allen, Virginia, securing both the tournament title and a 2027 PGA Tour card. Entering the week ranked 22nd in the standings, Hitt needed a strong finish to climb into the top 20, and he exceeded expectations with a 5-under-par 66 in the final round.
His round included a stretch of birdie-birdie-eagle on holes 8, 9, and 10, propelling him to a three-shot lead and a final victory by two strokes. The win, his first on the Korn Ferry Tour in 78 career starts, also pushed his career earnings past $1 million and earned him $270,000 from the $1.5 million purse.
Blades Brown, who began the week already inside the top 20, finished solo second with a 2-under-par 69. His strong play moved him up to ninth in the points race, making him the youngest golfer to earn PGA Tour status through the Korn Ferry Tour.
Brown’s performance capped a weekend where multiple players secured their futures on the PGA Tour by finishing in the top 20 of the season-long standings.
