Michael Brennan added another trophy to his rapidly growing PGA Tour résumé with a dominant performance at the 2026 Baycurrent Classic in Japan, securing his second win of the season and third overall in just 33 career starts. The 24-year-old American closed with a final-round 68 and a total of 16-under par, edging out rivals Jacob Bridgeman and Keith Mitchell by a single stroke after a tense back-nine duel.
Brennan’s victory was made even more special by the presence of his family, including his parents and younger brother Shin, who traveled from the U.S. to witness the milestone.
The win also marked Brennan’s first tournament in Japan, where he praised the passionate fans and immersive experience, from their golf knowledge to the local cuisine. Reflecting on the emotional moment, Brennan emphasized the role of his support network, calling their encouragement ‘the reason I’m here.’
