Auburn football news: Why an ex-staffer who's now a student at Tennessee got arrested right before Tigers play Volunteers

Prior to an upcoming Southeastern Conference matchup, a former Tigers staffer and current Volunteers undergraduate named David Rudolph Jenrath was taken into custody on Monday. Authorities placed him in the Lee County Jail under a fifteen thousand dollar bond following accusations that he leaked confidential recruiting intelligence regarding upcoming player targets to more than ten rival athletic programs using a fake email account.

Meanwhile, the Tigers approach this weekend meeting following a six-point homecoming victory over Vanderbilt, while the Volunteers enter after suffering a defeat against Texas.
