Arizona Fall League 2026 preview

With the minor league campaign officially wrapped up following the Triple-A Championship Game on September 26, the 34th edition of the Arizona Fall League has commenced. This developmental circuit offers prospects an opportunity to make up for missed action, face elevated competition, or test mechanical adjustments.

Eight members of the organization, including top talents, will compete as part of the Salt River Rafters squad alongside players from four other franchises.

Among the group heading west is shortstop Dax Kilby, whose professional progress was hampered by hamstring issues that limited him to 36 appearances. Despite the missed time, the 2025 first-round selection performed effectively in the single-A level, posting strong on-base metrics and power numbers.

He will now seek additional developmental reps in Arizona as the league gets underway.
