Angel Reese Makes WNBA Playoffs Decision After Suffering Facial Injury

Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese concluded a stellar regular season leading the league with 12.1 rebounds per contest while adding 1.8 steals, 2.8 assists, and 16.4 points on 45.1 percent shooting. Her impressive campaign earned her the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year honor along with a spot on the All-AP Second Team.

During the final regular season contest against the New York Liberty on Wednesday, Reese sustained a facial injury after taking an elbow to the nose from Sabrina Ionescu, which resulted in a Flagrant 1 foul.
