Alonso emphasized that his early focus centered on evaluating the current roster and identifying areas to modernize rather than attempting to construct an unattainable standard of perfection.

Across his opening six fixtures at the helm, Alonso has recorded four victories, one draw, and one loss, maintaining a spotless record through two Carabao Cup ties alongside seven points from four league outings. Ahead of an upcoming west London meeting at the Gtech Community Stadium against Brentford on Friday evening, the Spanish coach stated that establishing collective conviction, tactical reliability, and steady progress remains his primary objective.
