Twenty-six-year-old all-rounder Eva Gray is switching clubs within domestic cricket, moving from her previous home at Essex to sign a two-year contract with Hampshire. During her recent tenure with Essex spanning the last two seasons, she accumulated 53 appearances, contributing 63 wickets alongside 239 runs across all competitive formats, which included pacing the squad in the Vitality Blast with a haul of 17 dismissals.
Her résumé also features a title triumph in The Hundred last year alongside the London Spirit squad. Looking ahead to her new chapter at the Utilita Bowl, Gray expressed enthusiasm about integrating into a successful squad with strong backing for its women's program and learning from the existing personnel.
