Alabama Fans Demand Kalen DeBoer’s Firing After Embarrassing Loss to Tennessee

Alabama’s season is unraveling under Kalen DeBoer’s tenure, as the Crimson Tide suffered their second straight loss—this time a 26–10 defeat to Tennessee on Saturday—sparking a wave of fan backlash demanding his immediate dismissal. The loss, coming after a Week 6 home defeat to Georgia, has left Alabama on the brink of playoff exclusion after a 5–0 start.

Fans on social media have turned sharply critical, accusing DeBoer of poor preparation and a lack of leadership, with some arguing his time at the helm is over after three seasons marked by inconsistent results. Despite reaching the SEC title game last year and winning a playoff game against Oklahoma, Alabama’s recent struggles—including a first-round playoff exit to Indiana—have intensified calls for change, especially as the team now faces Texas A&M and LSU in critical games for playoff contention.
