Alabama dismisses CB Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. after arrest for doxxing, harassing police officer

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has officially removed Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. from the football program following the defensive back's recent arrest.

The player faces allegations of doxxing and harassing a law enforcement officer, an individual involved in a previous legal matter concerning Kirkpatrick Jr. from 2025.

DeBoer cited a failure to meet team standards as the primary reason for the dismissal. Prior to this development, the sophomore had been sidelined during the previous season following an earlier suspension.

Beyond the current charges, Kirkpatrick Jr. is also dealing with a separate misdemeanor case related to a hit-and-run incident from June 2026.

The player is the son of former NFL defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick.
