Adrian Meronk gets emotional at St. Andrews capturing his first victory in Europe in more than 1,000 days

Adrian Meronk recently secured an emotional triumph by winning the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Closing out the tournament with a final-round score of sixty-eight at the historic Scottish venue, he successfully outpaced competitors Niklas Norgaard and Casey Jarvis by a margin of two strokes.

This milestone marked his first professional victory in Europe in over one thousand days, concluding a difficult stretch that included a disappointing forty-fifth finish in LIV Golf standings. During a post-victory television interview, the thirty-three-year-old athlete expressed profound gratitude and reflected on turning professional exactly a decade prior while visibly wearing his Cleeks team apparel.
