Abishek Porel named in Bengal squad for Guwahati practice matches

Wicketkeeper-batter Abishek Porel has been included in the Senior Bengal men squad for upcoming practice fixtures against Assam. The team is scheduled to travel from Kolkata on September 30 for these matches under the leadership of Sudip Chatterjee, returning on October 6.

This selection marks Porel return to competitive cricket following an arrest by Kolkata Police in August related to sexual offence allegations, having previously featured only four times for the Delhi Capitals during the Indian Premier League season.
